Would you still go to Harvard...

Would you still go to Harvard if you couldn't list Harvard on your resume? (Replace "Harvard" with the name of the famous college of your choice.)

Without the brand name, is the education alone worth your time and student loans?

(Assume for a moment that getting accepted isn't an issue.)

  1. The lessons from Latin America say yes. Most privelaged people in Latin America do not list their high schools on their CVs but those exclusive places of making friends play huge role in social standing ability to get things done and get a job even after they return from Harvard or any other Ivey league education.

  2. I do appreciate the education that I received at Columbia, and am grateful for that opportunity these 35 years later.
